I heard about this book through Doorposts. We have four children, the oldest being sixteen, so we would still have a while before it would be needed. But, I’d love to have this for whenever we do.
Having first received her dad’s blessing, I proposed to my True Love through a song I composed. (Susanne said “Yes” and I said “HALLELUJAH!”) Two months later, we changed a few lines and turned my proposal song into Our Wedding Song. It summarizes the beautiful story of how God brought us together and led us “to walk side by side.” At our wedding, before Susanne’s dad pronounced us husband and wife, we sang Our Wedding Song to the Lord–to thank and honor Him through our musical testimony. It’s been 24 years, and we are still making music together, still in love, and still praising our Heavenly Matchmaker!

I just watched the video and read the download samples of All Things are Ready… I am nearly in tears and in awe of what Amy has put together. My oldest daughter was married 3 months ago- HOW I WOULD HAVE LOVED to have had your planner for her- BUT I do have one more daughter… So I would love to have this for her wedding. (Plus I’m sure I could use it for my 3 sons, too!)
I like how you planned ahead as you were planning others weddings, you wrote the wisdom down for your daughter- I KNOW so many will be blessed by your diligence! I have been working on cookbooks for my kiddos as they are growing up- and gave my daughter hers when she got married.

Received the email from Doorposts. I am new to homeschooling this year and got started right away as a customer of Doorposts. My oldest son, 19yr old, went away to College at 17yr old and met a young lady that he intends to marry when he graduates. They both love the Lord and work in campus ministry together. They just got back from a mission trip to Costa Rica, where they spent all of their Spring Break. I would love to own this book and give it to them when they get engaged. My son is graduating with his BA , this December and plans on going to Grad school.

This is a very needed book in our society when weddings have gotten away from being scripturally focused. This is not intentional for the most part but just because young women and families don’t have info to help them plan otherwise.

It’s a wonderful idea, two of our eight children have been married now and I also help others with sewing and altering wedding clothing, decorating and ideas from my memory, this would be a great resource. I agree that a wedding should glorify our Lord and mirror us as the Bride and He as the groom, and we as His bride to be ready for His return.

I heard about All Things Are Ready from an e-mail from Doorposts. I was extremely excited because I have been tremendously impressed by all of Doorposts products. They seem to grow up with my family. We have used Plants Grown Up and Polished Cornerstones. We have done both of their young lady Bible studies and now that the oldest of my 11 children is approaching marriage age, to have a resource for wedding preparation is a natural next step in parenting preparation. Thank you once again Doorposts!

Preparing 2 daughters for their roles as godly wives and mothers, I am very excited about this new resource. Too easily the focus tends to be on the wedding day plans rather than the lifetime marriage relationship and vows made between the couple and God. I look forward to the availability of this planner which glorifies God rather than the commercialism surrounding “the bride’s day”.
Read about this wedding planner on the Doorposts website, after I had just purchased materials for my two young sons. I am currently in a new courtship relationship three years after the dissolution of a very tragic and destructive marriage. Now, my entire family and I are facing the future with a man that God has brought through tragic circumstances of his own. We are prayerfully looking to our future and how we can best bring glory to Jesus’ name and minister to the hearts of our children through the example of what a healthy, Christ-centered marriage looks like. This resource would be INVALUABLE for my entire family as we progress along the path towards making the sacred covenant of matrimony before God, our families, and many joyful witnesses!

I received the email from Doorposts in regards to the lovely sounding book that is being offered. I have three daughters ages 25, 17 and 14 years old, all homeschooled, and love the Lord. I’m grateful that there is a book like this for godly brides or future brides to be. This book sounds like it will be wonderful blessing to those who will be using it. It’s so easy to get caught up in an “it’s all about me and my day attitude,” especially in this day and age.With my oldest daughter getting married in August, I am hoping to receive a copy ASAP! I was forwarded an email about the planner All Things Are Ready by my boss. His wife had received the email, and knowing that I’m recently engaged thought to pass it along to me. I love the concept! My engagement hasn’t been the easiest process so far, and I have a mother who’s been in the Bridal business for almost 20 years- so “proper etiquette” is preached and not God’s vision for the marriage ceremony & wedding. I would LOVE to have this book to plan a wedding according to His purpose!

I read about this new book on a Doorposts email. I have 6 wonderful grandchildren who will, Lord willing, be getting married in the future and I would love to be able to share this book and the ideas presented with them. Seems like these days most all the emphasis is on the externals of the wedding and not a whole lot on the preparation of the couple for the covenant of marriage. This new book sounds like a treasure.

I have long used and admired the wisdom found in Doorposts products. We have homeschooled our 4 children over the past 20 years and Doorposts has been a wonderful part of our character development curriculum. We heard about All Things Ready through the Doorposts facebook page.
Our oldest daughter is 23 and now a missionary in China. She has met another missionary on her team and they are heading toward marriage! We have a wedding to plan… probably in a short period of time and over a long distance.
